Another toy box and other projects

Thanks everyone for the kind comments...here is another toy car box with cargo-like pockets. As I was sewing I had another idea for the pockets...I just look for excuses to visit fabric stores.
I also finished a laptop sleeve for my brother (it's quite small with 12 x 9 dimensions). He wanted something retro in greens and black -- not an easy task. A simple design lined with medium weight polar fleece.

Here is a prototype of a non-structured tote/laptop bag (where I realized, that you need to accomodate for the depth of the laptop along with it's height and length when designing the opening; it is not like a file folder). Usually, I like bags that can stand alone, but the simplicity and femininity won me over. It reminds me of those fluttery baby doll tops.

Well, miss productivity. That toy box is pretty cute. And I think I just saw that green retro stripe at Joann's this morning - I think it had some coordinating circles? My friend would have bought some if there were enough!

Oh and pleats on a purse are so feminine! I like the simplicity as well.
