Thanks for the kind wishes for our trip! We went to the "happiest place on earth" where after one fun filled day, the little one succombed to a high fever and nausea. New toys from the nearby Target and cable TV (where we inexplicably became addicted to the women's collegiate softball playoffs) made the days spent in a hotel room bearable. On our last day we managed to be at the park all together for 3 hours before the older one was infected too. When those ever-attentive Disney associates noticed her slumped against a wall, they offered their nursing services. Did you know Disneyland has on-call nurses? It makes sense now that I think about it.

So sorry to hear about the kids being sick on your trip!
The apron is very trendy-looking!
Hopefully the kids won't remember the illness - just the fun.
The apron doesn't look crooked to me. You did a nice job. I think you had to put the velcro in - I can't think of something that would work better, and it needs to close, or the $ might fall out, right?
I'm sorry to hear they were sick. Oh that happens to us every time we just think about going on vacation.
That apron is great and I know what you mean about having a geometric pattern to go by-it makes it so much easier to sew. I love the fabric colors.
My Son gets a terrible chest cold and fever every time we travel. I feel your pain. Good thing you were able to keep yourself entertained!
I'm so sorry to hear your trp was blighted by illness.
I really like that apron, it's bright but not in a gaudy way. Very nice.
