Traveling toy box for the car

I was commissioned to create a toy box to organize all the kiddie stuff that seems to run wild in our vehicles. They wanted expandable pockets on the outside and after fiddling around I came up with this version below. I kept expecting a gecko or guinea pig to emerge (we went to the pet store today). Anyways, I'm going to try something different next time.
Here is the finished version:
I'm happy with the results! I think these are more functional and accessible than those one behind the front seat. Also it can serve as a barrier for squabbling siblings. I am considering making more of these for a fall trunk show.

Great idea; it looks wonderful! I can also see a use for it for organizing your car even if you don't have children. I think I need one of these car organizing bags for my grown-up toys.

I need one of those so badly. I spend half my driving time ferreting with one arm in the back for a dropped comic or toy. Lovely fabric choice too.

You did great on the pockets and the whole project - that seems like a very practical solution to all our messy cars!
